A passing of the torch has taken place in the NFC North, and the last two winners of the division will meet in Sunday’s “America’s Game of the Week.”
After winning the NFC North last week, the Chicago Bears host the Detroit Lions, who won the division in the last two seasons, in a matchup that’ll determine seeding in the NFC playoff picture. If Chicago wins, it’ll officially secure the No. 2 seed. But if the Bears lose and the Philadelphia Eagles take down the Washington Commanders, Chicago will get the No. 3 seed.
The Lions, meanwhile, are playing for pride. They were eliminated from playoff contention last week, but still sit at 8-7 and easily took care of the Bears earlier this season.
